For leaders carrying what they can't say out loud.

For senior leaders and high-potential executives, from the C-suite to the leaders rising toward it, facing complex, high-stakes decisions with real organizational weight, the pressure isn't only strategic. It is emotional.

That is where we start. One-on-one coaching with Dean begins with the Emotional Overhead quietly taxing your judgment, presence, and capacity, the part no strategy session ever reaches. It is the work almost no other coach does, and it is why everything after it moves faster.

From there, drawing on his work coaching executives since 2013, Dean works with you on the challenges that define your next level: executive presence, decisions under pressure, strategic focus, resilience, and leading through change. Private, direct, and built entirely around your reality.

Where We Focus

We start deep, then go wide.

Emotional Overhead & Capacity

Where we start: releasing the unresolved weight that quietly taxes your judgment, presence, and decisions, using the E.D.G.E. Method that almost no other coach does.

Executive Presence & Communication

How you show up, land in the room, and move people, sharpening influence, gravitas, and the way you communicate under scrutiny.

Decision-Making & Judgment

Thinking clearly and deciding with conviction under pressure, ambiguity, and incomplete information.

Strategic Clarity & Focus

Cutting through the noise to set the right priorities, protect your attention, and lead from what matters most.

Resilience & Sustainable Performance

Managing energy, not just time, so you lead at a high level without burning down yourself or your team.

Leading Through Change

Steadiness and clarity through uncertainty, transition, and rapid growth, for you and for everyone watching how you carry it.

The Relationship Carrying the Most Weight

For most senior leaders the largest single source of Emotional Overhead is not at the office. Alongside the executive work Dean has spent years coaching couples, bringing the same forgiveness discipline to where it is hardest to practice — with joint sessions running in the Standing Partnership.

How We Work Together

Every engagement is built around your context, your calendar, and your goals. The first two differ on a single question: who the engagement answers to. The third differs on how far it reaches.

The Private Partnership

6 or 12 months

Regular one-on-one sessions, typically twice monthly, with direct access between calls, focused entirely on you and the decisions in front of you.

  • Twice-monthly one-on-one sessions
  • Direct access between calls
  • A confidential thinking partner for your hardest decisions
  • Work built around your real challenges, not a fixed curriculum

The Sponsored Partnership

6 or 12 months, organization-sponsored

The same coaching partnership, with your organization sponsoring the work. What is said in session is never reported — the sponsor hears progress against goals set in the open, and nothing else. That boundary is what makes the work possible.

  • Everything in the Private Partnership
  • A scoping conversation with the sponsor to agree what the engagement is for
  • A confidential round of stakeholder input at the start
  • Quarterly progress reviews with the sponsor, against the agreed goals
  • A closing debrief and a plan for what carries forward

The Standing Partnership

12 months, in person and on call

A full year, built around Dean coming to you. He is with you in person each quarter, and between visits you reach him in the moment rather than at the next opening on the calendar. Emotional Overhead does not stay at the office, and neither does this work.

  • Everything in the Private Partnership
  • Four in-person visits a year, each built around a full working day
  • Dinner the evening before each visit, with your spouse where it helps
  • A joint session with your spouse at each visit from the second on, and a video session between
  • Spot coaching on call — same-day, and same-hour when it is urgent
  • Travel within the United States included

How It Works

How the work actually runs: the SEAT framework

Structure

Every technique we work on gets built into your actual week: when it happens, what it replaces, and how you'll know it's holding. Insight without structure quietly disappears by the following Thursday.

S

Encouragement

Senior leaders get feedback constantly and belief almost never. Between sessions you have someone who has watched the work hold under real pressure and will tell you so, specifically, at the moments you can't see it yourself.

E

Accountability

Nothing is left to willpower. We track what you committed to, what actually happened, and what got in the way, with a directness no one who reports to you can offer.

A

Tools & Training

Every cycle starts here. You leave each session with something concrete, a tool, a technique, or focused training you can use in the next hard conversation, not a concept to think about.

T

The Outcome

What you walk away with

  • Released from the Emotional Overhead that was quietly taxing your decisions
  • Sharper judgment and steadier presence under pressure
  • Communication that moves your team from compliant to committed — people who leave your office feeling genuinely understood
  • Real progress on the challenges that define your next level, from presence to strategic focus
  • A repeatable practice for staying regulated in high-stakes moments
  • A confidential thinking partner for your hardest calls
